Silverhand Creative now has an ecommerce Shopify website called Silverhand Store. Which may be a little unimaginative, but it’s definitely in keeping with the Silverhand brand. It has taken me over five years of hard work, stress, sleepless nights, worry and self doubt to get to this point, but here we are. #NoTurningBack

In the store you will find all of the handcrafted homewares I have created that are currently available, plus some of the tools I use in my crafting process and more.

Creations

Pretty much everything that I create is available to purchase. Whether it’s reclaimed fence post tealight holders, pallet wood wall clocks, or any of the “naughty, but nice” wall art from the Silverhand Creative Elegant Profanity™ range, you’ll be able to find it at Silverhand Store.

Due to the nature of the availability of reclaimed solid wood furniture, pallets, etc, the items I create tend to be limited runs or one-off items. So, if you see something you like, snap it up quickly. As chances are it won’t be available any time soon (if ever again).

However, if you do see something you like, but it’s the wrong colour for your current décor, or you want something a little more bespoke, then you are most welcome to get in touch and discuss your requirements.

Tools

I love tools, and it’s extremely rare that you are able to create something without them. So, with that in mind, I decided to add a select range of tools to the store. To start with, I have listed a small number of Zetsaw Japanese Saws and replacement blades. These are the ones I use most frequently, and I wanted to offer them to buy. The range of Zetsaw products will most probably increase as demand dictates. So, if there’s a specific Zetsaw product you’re looking for, then let me know and I’ll do my best to make it available.

It’s not just Zetsaw tools I’m looking to sell. I am in discussions to stock the Fiskars CarbonMax range of utility knives, which should hopefully arrive before the end of the year. I am also communicating with Walker Pro Tools to a range of their Circular Saw Blades.

Plus, I hope to sell some of the tool accessories I use, in the not too distant future. It’s all happening quickly, so keep checking back for updates.  #WatchThisSpace

Resources

There’s quite a bit of (quite frankly) crap information and mis-information on the internet these days, and I want to create a trusted resource of well researched documentation and guides. I hope that the resource on Silverhand Store will provide helpful tips on care for the creations and tools that you buy, and guides on their safe use.

Supporting Small Business

By making a purchase from Silverhand Store you will be helping a small, independent business stay afloat in the sea of multi-national big brands. Brands who are too big to (really) care about its customers and/or even the services/products they provide.

Whether you’re local to Sheffield, or not, buying from small, independent businesses (like mine) not only helps that business, but also the community it resides in. So, before you head over to Amazon, Temu, et al, for your next gift, think about supporting small businesses.

Yes, we may be a little more expensive than the “direct-from-China” online outlets, but you will be getting a quality item that’s been lovingly handcrafted, or a tool that’s been fully tried and tested. We also pride ourselves on customer service and satisfaction, so if something isn’t exactly as you thought it’d be, don’t just post a bad review, get in touch and we can work something out.

Speaking of reviews, small businesses rely on them. So, do remember to leave a kind review on Google after your purchase. Click here to leave one for Silverhand Creative.

The Last Word (well, paragraph-ish)

After saying all of that about supporting small business, it would be remiss of me to finish this blog without acknowledging the work of Darren and Carina over at Volta Creative. Without their skill and guidance, Silverhand Store wouldn’t exist (nor would this website, for that matter). So, if you’re in need of a new website (or just a refresh), or if you have other marketing requirements (both physical and digital), then go give them a shout.

Just remember to tell ‘em Corum sent ya…

Further Reading And Footnotes

For more information about me and all that is Silverhand Creative, go check out the About Me page on this website. I have a presence on Instagram and Facebook, where I post photos (and the odd video) of ongoing and finished projects. There’s also a YouTube channel, where you can see how I go about doing what I do and what tools I prefer to use. So, feel free (there’s no pressure) to follow and/or subscribe to any (or all) of the above.

I am most definitely amenable to commission work and have a web form for you to get in touch, should you be looking for something a little more custom.
