Halloween Hullabaloo

Halloween Hullabaloo Is Back!

Last year I created an event called; Halloween Hullabaloo, where I handcrafted one hundred, 70mm Halloween-themed fence post tealight holders. I burnt a pumpkin face on each with my pyrography machine and then stained all but two, orange.

It was a raffle, of sorts, whereby customers could purchase one or two of the tealight holders, but they didn’t know which pumpkin face(s) they would get. Each order was picked by pulling a raffle ticket out at random. Whatever number was pulled, then the tealight holder with the corresponding number was sent.

The promotion went so well, I’m doing it all again.

The One Hundred

Yes, one hundred tealight holders. They’re 70mm tall, have been cut from 75mm square, 100% reclaimed fence posts and have been crafted into pumpkin-faced delights to liven up the festivities. Fingers were burnt, stain was spilt and appointments with the opticians have been booked.

Six of the one hundred individual pumpkin faces, burnt into the side. No two are the same.

As mentioned back in the first paragraph, ninety eight have been stained a custom-mixed orange colour (that I’ve unimaginatively named; Pumpkin), and the other two have had alternate treatments.

Jack Skellington

This tealight holder has been stained white and has Jack’s unmistakable smile burnt into it. Get Jack as part of an order, and another tealight holder will be created for that customer, with a pumpkin face of their choosing.

Frankenstein’s Monster

An insipid green stain has been applied to this tealight holder and burnt with a face only a mother (or creator) would love. This one also has the addition of two neck bolts. Get Frank as part of an order, and another two tealight holders will be made to the customer’s choosing.

When, Where & How Does It Work?

A link to detailed information and all T&Cs for the Halloween Hullabaloo promotion can be found in the Further Reading And Footnotes section below. But, here’s the abridged version:

The event starts on the 1st Oct, and runs though until the 25th Oct. This should give me enough time to contact the winners, get their choices, craft the additional tealight holders and (hopefully) get them shipped out in plenty of time for the big night. Orders placed on Silverhand Store that include one (or two) of the promotional Halloween tealight holders, will be fulfilled with a random choice as described earlier. All additional, winning tealight holders will be sent out to the winners completely free of charge.

Posts will be made, closer to the time, on Silverhand Creative social media platforms, so remember to follow. I wouldn’t want you to miss out. Links are below.
